Nature and Mountains
Planina Ravne is a working mountain pasture on the southeastern edge of the Dleskovška planota plateau. It is also a starting point for ascents to nearby peaks. Another natural monument is Igla, which has been protected since 1948. Igla can be circled on an approximately 15-minute loop trail.
Snežna Cave lies at an altitude of over 1,500 m and is known for its permanent ice, diverse cave fauna and extensive stalactite and stalagmite formations. The cave is currently closed after heavy rainfall triggered a landslide that damaged the floor of the karst depression and the entrance. The ethnological collection Vas starih poklicev is also no longer open to the public following irreparable flood damage in August 2023.
The Savinja has been protected as a natural monument from its source to Ljubno. In the Luče area and on its tributaries, visitors can go fly-fishing, rafting, kayaking and canyoning.
