Kúty is a place with several clearly distinguishable layers. Its historical layers include buildings and village structures; another is formed by the landscape. Mobility is also represented by specific features. The details remain at their respective scales: a building, a neighborhood, a landscape or a transport hub. One way to access the place is through specific names, construction dates and spatial references.

Culture

The historical traces are spread across sacred buildings, a manor farm, a sculptural group and characteristic street structures. The sacred buildings have different dates associated with them and stand at named locations within the village. The bell tower of Kúty was built in 1826 on the site of an earlier wooden bell tower. The Church of Saint Joseph the Foster Father in Kúty is a Baroque church built between 1718 and 1726; its side altars date from the middle of the 18th century.

The rural architectural history is also part of the historical details. The Majerská stodola is the last partially preserved building of the Kúty manor farm and dates from the time of the reign of Maria Theresa. A sculptural group of Saints Cyril and Methodius stands in the park in front of the Kúty primary school.

Kaniža and Dedina also represent different neighborhoods with their own historical character. Kaniža is considered the oldest neighborhood of Kúty. In the Dedina neighborhood on Bratislavská ulica, there are characteristic historic building structures oriented perpendicular to the public roads, with their courtyards facing the street. The Chapel of Saint Anne in Za Kanižou stands on the site of a former burial ground; the smaller, more recent building dates from 1852.

Nature

The landscape has a different focus from the village's history. The cadastral territory of Kúty includes the floodplains of the Myjava as well as the floodplains and terraces of the Morava. In the surroundings of the Morava lies an area of European importance with increased protection.

A cycle path runs along the embankment on the Morava; it is connected to cycle paths in the Czech Republic and Austria. The route connects the landscape setting with cross-border cycling infrastructure without separating the path from its course along the Morava embankment.

Mobility

The railway station is also one of the place's distinct features. Kúty is a railway junction where the main railway lines meet at the station. There is step-free access to Kúty railway station from the reference point.

A vacation apartment in Kúty is defined by the details of the individual listing. Living area, number of rooms and price can describe the accommodation there; a location is also part of the respective vacation apartment. Depending on the listing, this information may vary and characterize the accommodation in its own way.
