In Ștefănești, winegrowing has a centuries-old history dating back to the Middle Ages. Casa de vinuri Ștefănești, also known as Crama Marcea, offers walks through the vineyards and wine tastings. Stroe Leurdeanu and Visa from Golești built Conacul Goleștilor in 1640. Stoica carried out the construction work as the master builder. Conacul Goleștilor was the residence of the Golescu family. The Curtea Goleștilor cultural heritage complex includes a Turkish bath. This bath dates from the 18th century.

Biserica Brătienilor is also called Biserica Sf. Ioan Botezătorul. It was built in 1898 according to the plans of the French architect André du Nouÿ. The construction period fell during the reign of Voivode Șerban Cantacuzino. In the churchyard of this Biserica din Valea Mare is the cross from the writer Liviu Rebreanu’s first grave.

Biserica Golești, „Sfânta Treime“, is a unique monument in Argeș County. It was built in the Moldavian style with late Gothic architectural influences.
