A special landscape theme awaits you at Miradouro Jurássico in the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park, at an altitude of around 500 metres. There are 15 limestone blocks representing the most important periods of the Jurassic, as well as two basalt elements. The viewpoint thus combines geological information with a landscape experience, without limiting the visit to a purely historical attraction.

Nazaré: Maritime Culture and Views

The coast of Nazaré adds a distinctly maritime accent to the trip. The Museu Dr. Joaquim Manso conveys the historical and cultural identity of the Nazaré region, with a focus on maritime culture, and displays miniatures of traditional boats from Nazaré. Local cuisine includes grilled sardines and caldeirada. Brisa do Liz, a small cake made from egg yolk, sugar and almonds, is a sweet speciality from Leiria.
