The Stępina-Cieszyna railway tunnel bunker was part of Hitler’s military headquarters, the Anlage Süd complex, during the Second World War. The tunnel of the Stępina-Cieszyna bunker is 393 metres long. In 1941, Hitler’s train stopped in the Stępina-Cieszyna railway tunnel.
Nature
The red cycling route passes through Cieszyna and forms a circular route that runs through Frysztak and Stępina, among other places. From the junction in Cieszyna to the centre of Frysztak, it is approximately 22 kilometres long. The red cycling route is estimated to take around four hours.
The blue Dębica–Wiśniowa–Czarnorzeki hiking trail climbs to the ridge between Pstrągówka and Cieszyna. The green Frysztak–Bardo hiking trail runs along the Cieszyna–Brzostek road beside the Stępinka stream. Trout and crayfish can be caught in the Stępinka Valley.
