Smaller buildings also give Broekhuizen a distinctive character. The St. Christoffelkapel stands at the intersection of Veerweg and Hoogweg and was built in 1960. The Kapel op de Stokt is a Saint Joseph chapel built in 1939. Nicolaaskerk is a single-nave Late Gothic building with a three-sided chancel dating from around 1500. Near the site where the former water mill on the Broekhuizer Molenbeek once stood, the Molenmonument commemorates this location.

Cycling tradition and cultural events

The Tour de Brokeze was first held in 1959. The Fietsersmonument stands on the edge of Broekhuizen, is a work of art and honours the annual cycling tour traditionally held on Shrove Tuesday. Since 2014, Brokeze Bruist has been a cultural event involving both villages in September.
