The “Scaloni–Cavre–Anglone” route also begins at the Ponte Romano di Ceniga. It follows the road towards Maso Lizzone and leads onto the SAT428 trail.

The names of this route also refer to its structural features: “Cavre” and “Scaloni” refer respectively to the support portals of cableways and to stairways that make the ascent easier in difficult sections. Beneath the Ponte Romano di Ceniga there is a small beach that is suitable for cooling off after a cycling tour.

Cycling tours through the Sarca landscape and protected area

Another way to experience the landscape is the easy cycling tour from Arco to Fies. It follows the Sarca River northwards along a cycle path and side roads, passes through orchards, vineyards and small settlements, and ends in the protected area of the Marocche. This area has been included in the European Natura 2000 network of protected areas as a Site of Community Importance.
