Oberhaid: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Oberhaid is one of the municipalities in the Kannenbäckerland region. The RB8 begins and ends on the main street in Oberhaid. Nature and Trails

Culture

From 1376 to 1560, Oberhaid was the seat of a special Haiderbach court. From 1450 onwards, the Lords of Isenburg held an estate in Oberhaid. An oil mill was built in Oberhaid in 1700 and later became known as Fuchsmühle. Two old mills are located within Oberhaid’s territory: Fuchsmühle and Mausmühle. The Kannenbäckerland is one of the 17 historically significant cultural landscapes of nationwide importance in Rhineland-Palatinate.
