Trails and Hiking
A pilgrimage trail reaches Görgeshausen from Nomborn via the Schwedensteg footbridge as well as forest and field paths. From the edge of the village, it leads past the sports field and barbecue hut through the forest towards Aull and the Lahn Valley. The Lahn Cycle Route continues as far as Limburg.

Culture and History
Four basalt columns bearing the coat of arms of Görgeshausen were erected at the village entrances in 1986. In the church, the central panel of the altarpiece depicts Easter morning, when Christ leaves the tomb. Numerous buildings, including the old school, were built using fired clay bricks made from locally sourced clay. The foundation stone for the new chapel was laid on 1 May 1949.
The Löwenstein dates from 1492 and was moved from the forest to the new community hall in 1981. It stands in the entrance hall of the community hall. A replica was erected at its former location.

The barbecue hut is a public facility operated by the municipality of Görgeshausen.
Traditions and Transport Connections
The parish fair is traditionally celebrated on the second weekend after Easter. It continues to take place when enough young men for the fair can be found, and is largely organized according to old customs.
