Viez is the region’s traditional cider between the Moselle and Saar rivers and is available in varieties such as pure apple, as well as pear, quince and elderberry blends. The Viez Route runs for more than 150 kilometers from Merzig to Trier and is promoted for cycling and hiking through villages with a traditional rural way of life.
