Culture and History

The St. Markus Church in the village is a three-aisled rubble-stone hall built between 1830 and 1833 according to plans by the Koblenz architect F. Nebel. As an architectural complex with its cemetery, the St. Markus Church is also listed.

Zur Alten Burg is a listed monument zone in which parts of the central ramparts and ditches of an early medieval motte have been preserved. The Schinderhannes Cycle Path passes through Ebschied station in the municipality of Braunshorn. It follows the former railway line of the Hunsrück Railway, that is, a former railroad route.
