Anyone looking to rent a holiday apartment in Lambertsberg can then continue searching for accommodation. Lambertsberg is home to the Lambertus pilgrimage church: St. Lambert Parish Church is a late Gothic pilgrimage church built shortly after 1500. The early possession of relics of Lambert of Liège made the church an important pilgrimage site.
Culture
The church forms an extensive religious complex with surrounding walls, a cemetery, a mortuary chapel, a war memorial, a grotto, and a large forecourt. One highlight is the pulpit decorated with reliefs, dating from 1618, which was designed by Trier stonemason Hans Ruprecht Hoffmann. St. Lambert Parish Church is listed as an individual cultural monument in the monument register of the Eifel District.
The market cross near St. Lambertus is part of the town’s documented market history. It symbolized market peace and the rights of peaceful market attendance. The annual Lambertus fair includes a Sunday procession through the decorated village, ending with a prayer in St. Lambert Church. Historically, the Lambertus Market in Lambertsberg was one of the most important livestock and general markets in the Eifel; it was discontinued after the First World War.
Nature and Trails
The Alois Trail between Lambertsberg and Hargarten runs along the Dierbach. The Islek Pfädchen also leads from the village into the Dierbach Valley. The trail is 3.4 kilometers long, classified as an easy hike, and has a stated duration of one hour. The Islek Pfädchen follows narrow, partly overgrown paths and handmade steps along the natural course of the Dierbach.
The starting point is at the shelter/barbecue hut in Lambertsberg outside the village. Parking is available there; the hut is located approximately 600 meters outside the village.
