The Dürkheim Wurstmarkt offers another perspective: it is considered the world’s largest wine festival and has a 600-year history. Deidesheim can also be explored on a 2.3-kilometre walking tour through its historic centre. Those interested in local history can make this walk a separate activity; it offers a different perspective from a museum visit or festival. Castles, a monastery and historic insights

The history of Hardenburg began in the 13th century. The complex was later expanded into a fortress and eventually into the castle of the Counts of Leiningen. Visitors to Kurpfalz Park can see native wild animals such as wild boar, lynx, mouflon and fallow deer; there are also rides and playgrounds.
