The Catholic parish church of St. Servatius in Kaltenborn dates in its present form to 1833. It was built from stones taken from the ruins of the former local castle; the church tower is older.

Above the village, on the road towards Hochacht and next to the forest, stands the St. Mary Wayside Chapel. It has benches for a short outing and quiet prayer.

The third and final stage of the Eifelleiter is described as a challenging, scenic hike through the Steinrausch Adventure Forest, quiet woods and small Eifel villages to Hohe Acht and the Kaiser Wilhelm Tower. Along the way, there are expansive views and rock formations.
