The Tiddischer Drömling is included in the Northern Drömling Nature Reserve. The Northern Drömling is characterised by extensive interconnected grassland areas and crossed by numerous larger and smaller ditches and dams. The former school bell tower is a landmark of Tiddische. Tiddische is recorded as Thiaddagsheshusun around the year 1000. The current name of the village developed from the official form Didgesche, documented in 1366. The coat of arms of Tiddische depicts a watermill on the Kleine Aller, which was operated until the late 1950s.
In Hoitlingen, Im Unterdorf, the historic centre is located; the village’s original circular layout was abandoned during reconstruction.

The Gifhorn district has themed hiking trails and nature trails. The Otter Centre in Hankensbüttel is described as unique in Europe. The Mill Museum in Gifhorn contains 13 full-size mills from around the world.
Regional menus feature asparagus, blueberries, Heidschnucke mutton and heath potatoes. Regional products can be experienced at farm cafés and farm shops.
