The factory outlet offers an experience distinct from the museum and sculpture park: the glasses themselves, and the chance to test them thoroughly, are the focus here. Forest and views on the Rachel hike
The Rachel hike starts in Frauenau at the car park near Gut Oberfrauenau and leads through primeval forest to the saddle between the Großer Rachel and the Kleiner Rachel. It reaches the Rachelwiese at an altitude of 1,360 m, the highest Schachten meadow in the Bavarian Forest. From a viewing platform, there is a view of Lake Rachel. The Waldschmidt House is currently not operating.
