Francis I and Henry IV stayed at the Château de Chamousset; Francis I remained there with his entourage for a month in 1533, while Henry IV also stayed there.

History
The bell tower and apse of the Église Saint-Laurent date from the 15th century. The church contains a confessional carved in 1764 in the Louis XV style, as well as stained-glass windows signed by Jean Coquet and Lamy Paillet.
