In Émeringes, the Église d'Émeringes was built in 1865 on the site of an older church dating from the 17th century, which was dedicated to Saint Étienne. The building was constructed under the direction of the architect M. Berthier de Mâcon and decorated by the sculptor Joseph Fabisch. For safety reasons, the Église d'Émeringes has been closed since 2022.

The Pigeonnier of Émeringes dates from the 16th century and is considered the oldest surviving relic of the village. It once belonged to the outbuildings of Cluny Abbey. The château and its park are also part of the local landscape: both were designed in 1636 by Le Nôtre, the designer of the gardens of Versailles.

An alambic stands on Émeringes' main square as evidence of the tradition of the Bouilleurs de crus.

Nature

The Circuit du Pigeonnier circular trail is a 6.6 km hike that begins through vineyards, follows a stream and continues through forests. In addition to the 6.6 km main route, the Circuit du Pigeonnier includes a 2.5 km variant called the Circuit de la tête rouge. The combined Circuit du Pigeonnier loop is 9.1 km long.
