In Peyraud, the Château de Peyraud preserves two vaulted medieval rooms, including the former keep, as well as a 57-metre-long succession of reception rooms dating from the 18th century.

Culture
The Chapelle Notre-Dame de la Pitié de Verlieux is a 16th-century chapel in the Romanesque style. It is open all week during the day.
A local legend is associated with the Fontaine de Bonnefont: it is said to have sprung from beneath Saint Martin’s horse’s hooves; two hoofprints appear to have remained preserved in the rock.
History
The Pont ferroviaire de Peyraud, also known as the viaduc de Saint-Rambert, was built in 1868 between Peyraud and Sablons to cross the Rhône. A pedestrian passage was added to the bridge and inaugurated in April 1935.
Events
At the beginning of August, a village market featuring regional products and handicrafts, as well as a guided tour of the château, takes place in the grounds of the Château de Peyraud. At the end of November or beginning of December, Peyraud hosts a Christmas market with numerous exhibitors specialising in handicrafts and regional products.
A parish festival with Mass and a communal meal takes place every year at the Chapelle Notre-Dame de la Pitié de Verlieux on the first Sunday in September.
Nature
The Voie douce les berges du Rhône offers a stop at the pier structure of the Bac à traille, with a picnic table, children’s play equipment and fishing platforms. The route runs along a natural, still-wild green corridor of the Rhône, bordered by vineyards and the slopes of the Ardèche.
Hiking
The La chapelle de Verlieux hike passes through vineyards and a wooded valley to the Chapelle de Verlieux. It offers views of the Rhône, the Drôme and the Pilat.
