Roussillon reveals its special character along the Sentier des Ocres: the circular trail is a remarkable geological formation with ravines, fairytale-like rock pillars and rock faces in shades of yellow, orange, red and violet. There is a short 30-minute circuit and a long two-hour circuit for exploring the area.

Culture
The former Mathieu ochre factory has restored washing facilities, a kiln and mills. These facilities illustrate the various stages of processing the mineral, from extraction to dispatch. The two-hour workshop “Ocrier d’un jour” also allows participants to wash ochre sands and produce pigments as in the past.
The Castrum is the highest point in the village. From there, you can enjoy views over the valley and of Mont Ventoux; there is also an orientation table. The Castrum is also associated with the famous legend of Dame Sermonde’s leap into the depths.
In the Église Saint-Michel, the baptismal fonts were created in 1791 by the sculptor Alexis Poitevin, who came from Roussillon. The altarpiece of the baptismal fonts depicts the baptism of Christ by John the Baptist and is classified as a protected historic monument.
Roussillon’s tourist attractions include the belfry of the clock tower and the campanile. The remains of the fortification walls are also among the village’s attractions.
At Roussillon’s weekly market, several artisans offer, among other things, paintings, jewellery, photography, cutlery and hats.
