The Château du Barroux was built as a fortified keep that protected the plain from Saracen and Italian invasions and was the seat of the seigneurie from the 12th to the 18th century. At the Château du Barroux, visitors can explore the interiors and terraces independently.

The Château du Barroux is partly classified as a historic monument and partly listed as a historic monument; at the same time, it benefits from full protection. The Monastère Sainte-Madeleine is a Benedictine monastery founded in Bédoin in 1970 and relocated to Le Barroux in 1980. It offers spiritual stays or retreats exclusively for men.
The Moulin à Huile du Barroux is an oil mill of the Moulin à Chapelle type, built in 1792 and in operation until 1853. A millstone and Chapelle-type presses are still visible. The former Moulin à Huile du Barroux has been listed as a historic monument since 19 July 2006 and can only be visited as part of guided tours.
The Jardin du Mont Ventoux features a garden tour accompanied by fountains and watercourses, with selected works of art, lavender or iris beds bordered by dry-stone walls, an orchard and a Zen garden. The Jardin du Mont Ventoux in Le Barroux is a private estate bearing the Jardin remarquable label since 2023.
At Les Lamas du Barroux, visits are only possible by prior reservation; a tour of the weaving workshop is also offered.
The Écoute & Goûte literature festival takes place every year in mid-June and offers meetings, discussion panels, book signings, readings, workshops, exhibitions and performances. The festival is open to all audiences, including children, teenagers and adults.
