The boulders of La Garrelière in Neuvy-Bouin are part of the granite chaos of the Gâtine poitevine. They are listed in the French national inventory of geological heritage and classified as natural monuments and sites because of their geomorphological interest and their integration into the agricultural landscape.

The Bois de l'Ermite contains a rocking stone as well as numerous small landforms on the upper surfaces and flanks of some granite boulders. The Bois de l'Ermite consists of a collection of ovoid granite boulders in a valley through which a tributary of the Mare aux Canes stream flows.

Water

The municipal pond is suitable for picnicking or spending some pleasant time by the water. It has a shelter for rainy days and a play area.

The sources of the Sèvre Nantaise are located partly in Neuvy-Bouin and partly in Le Beugnon, at an altitude of 215 metres on a ridge. One of the two sources is located at the hamlet of Les Gâts in Neuvy-Bouin. The source of the Sèvre Nantaise at the hamlet of Les Gâts is on private property and is not accessible to visitors.

The Forêt de Gaïa is located near a Greenway. The GAÏA natural area has a 5 km-long walking trail. The Forêt de Gaïa is a 10-hectare site near the centre of Neuvy-Bouin, where a biodiversity area is being created.
