La Breille-Les-Pins: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Nature

In the hamlet of Les Hautes Belles, the Fontaine bouillante is located along the GR 36. In the basin paved with tuffeau stone, the water currents are visible at the bottom and create the impression of boiling.

Culture and History

The present-day parish church of Saint-Etienne in La Breille-les-Pins was built between 1864 and 1866 according to plans by the architect Charles Joly-Leterme. The Menhir de la Mère Michel and the discovery of polished axes provide evidence of prehistoric use of the site of La Breille-les-Pins. In the hamlet of Les Loges, several buildings of the women's priory of Fontevraud Abbey have been preserved.

CBG Mignot organises guided tours for groups of 12 to 20 people. These include a demonstration of casting a figure in the former foundry.

Local Area

In the La Blottière district, the Maison des Abeilles offers guided beekeeping visits during the Days of Hope on the last weekend in July and August. Visits for groups are possible year-round.
