Combrée: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The foundations of the steam engine from Shaft 2 have been preserved at the Bel-Air slate quarries. Underground mining at the slate quarries began around 1880.

Nature and Trails

The municipal forest of Combrée covers approximately 90 hectares and has a fitness trail.

The 3.5-kilometre interpretive trail “Sur les pas du mineur masqué” reveals the built and natural heritage of the forest in an area designated as an Espace Naturel Sensible. The entrance to the interpretive trail is located behind the school.

Culture

The Église Saint-Pierre was built in the 17th century and features several construction and renovation phases.

The Chapelle de la Sainte-Famille was built in 1905 to serve the Bel-Air slate workers’ settlement.

The former college building is a monumental structure built in the mid-19th century.

The Cercle des Perreyeurs invites visitors to discover Boule de fort. Visitors can experience it there on a unique curved lane using asymmetrical balls.

Leisure

The leisure complex in Combrée has an 18-hole swingolf course.
