Culture and History
The Chemillé heritage trail passes the old fortification walls of the château as well as the ruins of the Collégiale Saint-Léonard.
The Melay panoramic walk passes the Jardin du Curé, the ruins of the Collégiale Saint-Martin and the municipality's ponds. The “Chantoiseau” walk is a 11.65-kilometre moderate circular route starting and ending in Melay; it passes the Chapelle des Martyrs, the Jardin du Curé, the ruins of the Collégiale Saint-Martin and the Étang de Coulvée.

The Circuit touristique de Chemillé is an easy circular walking route of approximately 4 kilometres, taking around 2 hours and 30 minutes; it starts and ends in Chemillé-en-Anjou.
The historical walk through the Notre-Dame and Saint-Léonard districts is an approximately 3-kilometre loop with 11 stops. The tourist route relating to the Vendée Wars is a 50-kilometre driving route starting in Chemillé.

The picnic area at the Melay ponds offers extensive, shaded green spaces and ponds, children's play equipment and walking paths around the ponds; it is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
The picnic area at the Jardin du Curé is located in the centre of Melay between the town hall and the church and offers a peaceful, green area maintained by volunteers; several walks can be continued beyond the gate.
