Avrillé can be explored along the 13-kilometre circular route Sentier Aprilis. The route leads through the districts of Avrillé and along paths through the countryside. Short sections run through the districts as well as through parks, forests and the green belt. Hikers, sports enthusiasts and families can walk the Sentier Aprilis without difficulty.

Nature
The Sentier du Parc de la Haye follows the Brionneau River to the Étang Saint-Nicolas, a former slate quarry. Avrillé offers more than 170 hectares of green spaces accessible to everyone. In the Parc des Poumons Verts, a pond and large trees form part of the landscape.
Paths and landscape
The Avrillé loop of the Sentier Le Fléchet is approximately 3 kilometres long. The Sentier Le Fléchet itself is a short walking trail on flat terrain with no difficult sections.
The Voie verte runs along a former railway line through Avrillé between Montreuil-Juigné and Angers. It is a 9.2-kilometre circular route intended to connect Angers and Montreuil-Juigné in the long term.
Culture and history
The Château de la Perrière is partly registered as a Monument historique and partly classified as a Monument historique. It was built in two phases in the 17th century and comprises three U-shaped building wings as well as a chapel at the southwestern end.
The priory founded in 1180 in the Bois de la Haye belonged to the Order of Grandmont at that time. The surviving 12th-century church features wall and vault paintings from the 14th century. A chapel built in 1852 commemorates the Catholics shot at this site during the Revolution; almost 2,000 people lie in twelve large mass graves.
