In 1150, a women’s priory was founded on the grounds of the Manoir du Val-de-Morière by Fontevrault Abbey under the name “Bademorière” or “Bademoreria”. The present manor house dates from 1870.
The Chapelle de Fréligné between Touvois and Falleron has Romanesque origins. It was built in the 13th century with a baptismal font and a trefoil-shaped credence table, remodelled in the 16th century and restored in the 19th century. The stained-glass windows date from 1885. The chapel is open every day all year round; the residents of the hamlet are responsible for monitoring it.
The Manoir de La Foresterie is considered the oldest dwelling in the Forêt de Touvois and features moats as well as a wolf pit.
The William Judson stele is located north of the commune in the hamlet of La Revarderie, near the D72 between Le Val de Molière and La Benâte. A path leads left from the centre of the hamlet; the stele stands at the end of this path, behind an agricultural shed on the left. It commemorates William Judson (1922–1994), an RAF airman who found refuge in La Revarderie in 1944.
Until the 1960s, a pilgrimage attended by 1,000 to 1,500 people took place on 8 September, the feast of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary.
The Fontaine Bouillonnante is located about one kilometre from the Chapelle de Fréligné in the direction of Touvois; bubbles sometimes rise to the surface from the shallow spring.
