Nature

The Boucle de la biodiversité is a 6-kilometre circular route. It begins at the plan d’eau du Plessis on the Chemin des Claudix and leads through the wet meadows along the Loire. The GR3 follows the Loire à Vélo route along the Loire for 4 kilometres through Sainte-Luce-sur-Loire, from the Seil stream to the Guette-Loup stream. The Parcours santé complements these paths with a 1.6-kilometre circular route and nine exercise stations.

Île Clémentine is classified as a Natura 2000 site because of the rarity and sensitivity of its natural environment. Jardins Chapeau is a 3,200 m² recreational area overlooking the Loire; it has four picnic tables, a bicycle repair station and bicycle racks.

Culture

Château de Chassay has been listed as a Monument historique since summer 2024. The Massonnerie Tower is a 17th-century structure that once served as the staircase of the presbytery and was restored by the town at the end of 2019.

The Parcours patrimoine in Sainte-Luce-sur-Loire comprises eight sites with educational information panels. A former fishing village on the Loire remains a place for walks on foot or by bicycle.

Local

The town-centre market takes place on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Place du Général de Gaulle. More than 65 vendors offer food as well as non-food products such as clothing, shoes, linen and plants.

During the season, La Sablière hosts either a blind test or a comedy club once a month on Thursdays, acoustic concerts on Fridays and DJ sets on Saturdays.
