Pornichet’s three beaches each have a distinct character: Les Libraires is lively and family-friendly, Bonne-Source is wilder, and Sainte-Marguerite is quiet and secluded.
The grey dune of Bonne Source covers 4 hectares and is home to, among other species, sea pink, sea lily, spider orchid and sand grasshopper. The GR®34 coastal footpath crosses Pornichet for almost 4 kilometres between Pointe du Bé and Pointe de la Lande. Along the way, it passes wild coves, sandy beaches, rocky cliffs and protected natural areas.
Pornichet’s 9-hectare Parc paysager includes a conservation garden with fruit trees, insect hotels, extensive grazing, beehives and a Miyawaki woodland. The park also features a health trail, a children’s playground, fitness areas and an interactive visitor trail. Five guided nature tours are offered in Pornichet, where visitors can discover, among other things, algae and the wildlife of the intertidal zone.

Culture
Since 2002, Ker Souveraine has been the only villa in Pornichet listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments. The Maison du Patrimoine displays models, old postcards, tools and historical objects. They illustrate Pornichet’s transformation from a fishing and farming village into a coastal town focused on the sea and seaside resorts.
Local Life
At the Halles de Pornichet, 22 producers and traders offer fish, seafood, seasonal fruit and vegetables, cheese and traditionally made bread all year round.
