Vay: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
At Étang de Clégreuc in the municipality of Vay lies a 113-hectare sensitive natural area owned by the Loire-Atlantique department. The pond is open to the public and offers an approximately 4-kilometre circular walk through its natural habitats. Since the 1980s, 150 bird species have been recorded there, including 14 species recognised as being of particular heritage interest.

Culture and History
The Chapelle Saint-Germain was attached to the priory founded at the end of the 12th century, probably between 1155 and 1188. For a long time, outside its diocese, it belonged to the possessions of the Abbaye de Saint-Germain d’Auxerre.
At the Fosses Rouges, visible excavations remain, considered traces of a long mining and metallurgical past.
The watermill Moulin de Clégreuc contains structural elements from the 15th, 18th and 19th centuries. It was built together with its pond by the Seigneur de la Cineraye, was used to mill buckwheat, black wheat and livestock feed, and now stands in ruins.
The menhir La Pierre qui tourne was classified as a historic monument by decree of 5 November 1928.
Local Life
The Marché de l’ESAT in Vay takes place every Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Seasonal organic fruit and vegetables from the production of ESAT Val de Vay are sold there.
