The easy 11.49-kilometer circular hike Boucle de Lestrem par le Pont Riqueult starts in the hamlet of La Fosse. It follows and crosses the Lawe several times. Along the circular route, there are several information boards about the history of the places.

The Base de loisirs Eolys has a 35-meter-long zip line and includes a cycling practice course.
Culture and History
The Church of Saint-Amé is listed as a historic monument. The Château du Rault, also known as Château de la Fosse, stands in the hamlet of La Fosse-Lestrem near the Lawe and was built at the beginning of the 19th century.
The Mur des rescapés memorial commemorates the shooting of 97 British soldiers by an SS unit in May 1940 in Paradis, Lestrem. The municipality of Lestrem erected the memorial in 2018 in the Allée Pierre Macquart. The former church in Lestrem was built in 1507.
Transport
In 2025/2026, Transdev bus route 420 operates on the Merville–Lestrem–Béthune route. The Navette MA.Lys has departures and arrivals in Lestrem as well as in Haverskerque, Merville, Estaires, La Gorgue, Laventie, Sailly-sur-la-Lys and Fleurbaix within the Flandre Lys network.
