The Église Sainte-Barbe in Nœux-les-Mines was built in 1878 and designed by the architect Constant Moyaux. As a whole, it is protected as a Historic Monument; it was listed by decree on 9 October 2009.
The Donation Ladislas Kijno is a museum of modern and contemporary art in Nœux-les-Mines. Its permanent exhibition comprises 60 works by Ladislas Kijno, who was from Nœux-les-Mines. Guided tours, performances and workshops on artistic practice are offered for all audiences, as well as educational and artistic projects for groups.

The Musée de la mine de Nœux-les-Mines reconstructs 200 metres of tunnels and mining galleries. On display are modern technology from the era of iron and electricity, as well as older timber-support technology. The museum is housed in a former training centre where 14-year-old Galibots learned the mining trade. Visits are possible by prior reservation and subject to guide availability.
Sports
The Loisinord sports and leisure complex in Nœux-les-Mines comprises two facilities mainly dedicated to board sports: the Stade de Glisse and the Stade Nautique. The Loisinord Stade de Glisse has a synthetic slope covering 10,000 m² and measuring 320 m in length.
Nature
The Terril du Belvédère is located in the town centre of Nœux-les-Mines and offers panoramic views over the mining landscape. Nature has reclaimed the site, which is home to numerous animal and plant species.
The Terril du Belvédère is also located along the 4 km walking trail “Discovering the mining heritage – around Noeux-les-Mines”, which begins at the Loisinord Stade de Glisse.
