The old town centre of Pradines is situated above a bend in the river and includes the remains of its château.

Pradines stretches along 13 km of verdant banks on the Lot. Surrounded by vineyards, the Church of Saint-Sébastien de Flaynac stands on a small hill overlooking the Lot.
Culture
The old town centre of Pradines is known for its dovecotes. The Church of Saint-Blaise was founded in 1713; the year 1714 is carved into the lintel of the west portal. The church is closed outside services; visitors should contact the Mairie.
The Romanesque Church of Saint-Sébastien de Flaynac was built in the 12th century and is equipped with loopholes for defence. The Church of Saint-Martial is a rural single-nave church built on pre-Romanesque foundations.
The two statues Pietà and Notre-Dame du Salve Regina are also among the town’s historic monuments: they are classified as historic monuments. La Prade also offers a public programme of current performances.
Activities
Cap Nature Pradines offers water skiing and wakeboarding. The Cap Nature Parc de Loisirs Cahors leisure park in Pradines is an outdoor park with several activities and 12 attractions for visitors aged two and over.
The “Balade sur les Berges du Lot” cycling tour starts in Pradines, is very easy, 4.5 km long and takes 25 minutes. At the beginning, it follows the Lot and ends in the old town centre of Pradines. The route passes through vineyards and by traditional houses.
Cuisine
During the season, Domaine du Souleillan offers vineyard walks and, by reservation, truffle hunting. The winery cultivates 10 hectares of vineyards and grows Malbec, Merlot, Jurançon noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon.
