The Des Pierres en Héritage association organises a free guided tour of the bastide of Montfaucon on Wednesdays in July and August at 5 p.m.; reservations are required.

The lake in Montfaucon is used by anglers.

The Parc naturel régional des Causses du Quercy Regional Nature Park is located in the vicinity of Montfaucon. The Pech de Dreuilles hill is also located in the vicinity of Montfaucon.
