Carlucet: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Carlucet lies in the heart of the Causses du Quercy Regional Nature Park and is also located within the Causses du Quercy UNESCO Global Geopark. The village is also situated in the Triangle Noir du Quercy, which is considered to be particularly little affected by light pollution.
Carlucet is included in the ZNIEFF Zone centrale du Causse de Gramat, which encompasses twelve natural habitats worthy of protection. The Vieux chênes de Cantegrel are designated as a Natura 2000 site.

Getting around
The De Bouriane à Rocamadour entre Périgord Noir et Haut Quercy bridleway runs through Carlucet. It is a circular horseback route of approximately 150 km.
The Chemin des Caps Durs is an approximately 20 km circular route for mountain biking and hiking. The GR 46 from Tours to Toulouse also passes through Carlucet; it is a variant of the Camino de Santiago to Santiago de Compostela.
Carlucet’s stargazing site has an information board explaining the night sky and offers an observation axis towards the south-southwest.
Culture
The Sainte-Marie-Madeleine church, dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene, was originally very probably the castle chapel. In the Sainte-Marie-Madeleine parish church in Carlucet, the tabernacle door depicts Christ as the Good Shepherd.
The former priory and the cemetery of Carlucet were registered as historic monuments on 12 October 1948. The cemetery with the enfeus of Carlucet contains 16 graves, most of which are located beneath round arches.
Food and drink
Carlucet’s Marché gourmand takes place every summer on Tuesday evenings in July and August. The venue is the car park below the town hall.
