Culture
The Église Saint-Martin is a Gothic church dating from the 15th century that has been rebuilt several times. Its original 350-kilogram bronze bell survived the French Revolution and is still kept in the bell tower. The bell tower, standing on a square tower, is around 20 metres high and is considered the most spectacular part of the church. It is believed to have originally been a defensive tower.
The Château des Pesquidoux is designed in the style of Louis XIII and was extended in the 18th century. The de Pesquidoux family has lived at the Château des Pesquidoux for generations. Joseph de Pesquidoux owned the château in Perchède and is considered an unmistakably Gascon author.
