The Sentier Découverte de la Gimone is a freely accessible 3-km circular trail; there is also a shorter 1.7-km loop. The educational trail runs along the Gimone in the municipality of Solomiac. Its themes include water, soil, fauna, flora, biotopes, ecosystems and sustainable development. It is aimed at a broad audience and, thanks to an educational booklet, is particularly suitable for children from primary-school age through collège age and for families.
On the Sentier des pigeonniers, visitors can discover the dovecotes of Narrosse, En-Cazeneuve, En-Naliotte, En-Naubrie, Géry and Grandeborde, particularly around Solomiac. On the return journey, the path follows the banks of the Gimone to the bastide and ends at the washhouse.

Culture and history
The market hall in Solomiac may date back to the 14th century. Before the current building, it also served as the town hall. By decree of 22 March 1973, it was listed as a historic monument.
The present-day church of Solomiac has stood on the same site since the bastide was founded in 1323. Its octagonal bell tower with its spire rises above the choir on the north side, rather than above the entrance.
