Landscape
The village of Ayguetinte lies on marshy ground in the Auloue Valley and stretches along the left bank of the Auloue River. It has a circular shape and is surrounded by wide ditches with a radius of approximately 50 m.
History
Joseph Raulin was born in Ayguetinte and was known as a physician to King Louis XV. In the Middle Ages, Ayguetinte was home to a Templar house. The former Templar house was surrounded by partially filled-in ditches.

The municipality of Ayguetinte is criss-crossed by hiking trails. At the annual village festival in Ayguetinte, held on 15 August, a 9 km hiking route was offered in 2024.
Cuisine
Domaine Entras offers tastings of its wines, Flocs and Armagnacs. In 1982, Brigitte and Michel settled at Entras in the municipality of Ayguetinte. At Domaine Entras, 10 new hectares of vineyards were planted on clay-limestone breccia soils on the eastern slope of the Auloue Valley.
