Culture and History
The Menhir de la Croix Parot is a 3.26-metre-high monolith made of fine-grained granite in Nantiat. It was once associated with the local tradition that young women placed pine needles in the hollow at its top in order to find a husband. The menhir was probably consecrated and Christianised in the 11th or 12th century.
The Eglise Saint-Vincent in Nantiat was built between 1829 and 1833. Its three-bay nave is flanked by four semicircular chapels; in 1867, the church was decorated with murals.
The baptistery of Nantiat is a remnant of the former 11th-century church. It was originally half-buried and attached to the former church; it is considered a precursor to the holy water stoup.
The Château de Montauran in Nantiat was built in the 15th century and preserves two fortified towers.

Cycling
The C14 cycling circuit is certified by the Fédération Française de Cyclisme. It passes through Nantiat and continues into the heart of the Monts de Blond.

Nantiat TER railway station has a TER ticket machine, as well as bicycle and car parking.
