Local heritage
The Conservatoire des pommiers du Limousin in Glandon preserves rare and old apple varieties from the Limousin, including Chaux, Paradis, Courtpendu and Reine des Reinettes. The conservatory includes 170 trees planted to preserve the local heritage. The grounds can be visited freely.
Nature
The Sentier des belles limousines runs through green meadows where Limousin cattle graze. The trail also passes through Glandon, which lies on a hill at an elevation of around 380 metres.
From Saint-Yrieix, the Sentier des belles limousines can be reached via the D18 towards Glandon.
Culture
The Saint-Sernin spring is considered a sacred site dating back to the Gallic period. It was Christianised in the early Middle Ages and still exists today.
The oldest parts of Glandon church date from the 12th and 13th centuries. Its chestnut-wood vault was made in 1991. The furnishings also include a wooden Madonna and Child from the 12th century.
