Saint-Sébastien: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The present-day Église Saint Sébastien is a west-facing Neo-Romanesque building. Its patron saint is the martyr Saint Sébastien; it was consecrated on 7 October 1862. The former Église Saint Sébastien dates back to the 12th century.

At the Espace patrimoine Klepsydra, guided tours with commentary convey 2,000 years of village history. Explanatory panels and objects from the respective periods are used for this purpose. The Espace patrimoine Klepsydra also received an award from the French Ministry of the Environment in the 26th national heritage conservation competition.

Hiking

La Vallée de l'Abloux SB1 is a 14.0 km moderate circular hike with a walking time of around three hours. It starts at Vaussujean railway station and leads to small heritage sites, particularly Saint-Sébastien's railway heritage and slate walls.

La Planche aux Pèlerins SB2 is a 10.9 km easy circular hike with a walking time of around three hours and passes the Fontaine Saint Jean. It is also designated as a 10.9 km moderate circular horse-riding route with a duration of around two hours. Par Monts et par Vaux SB3 is an 11.4 km moderate circular hike with a walking time of around three hours.

The nature run Les Foulées du Rail takes place on the former railway line that once connected Guéret with Saint-Sébastien via Dun-le-Palestel. The event attracts more participants with each edition.

The historic site of Abbaye d'Aubignac is located in the immediate vicinity of Saint-Sébastien. In the wider region are the historic site of Abbaye d'Aubepierre and the ruins of Abbaye Notre-Dame de la Colombe.
