The Galerie d’Art et d’Histoire presents the history of Poissy in five thematic sections: medieval Poissy; a city shaped by agriculture and commerce; the Seine as an important transport route for Poissy; an area devoted to art and recreation; and industrial and modern Poissy.
Parks and Outdoor Activities
Parc Meissonier is a ten-hectare English-style park with a pond, a rose garden and dozens of plant species. Throughout its history, Parc Meissonier has been the park of a royal monastery, a garden appreciated by poets, agricultural land and a recreational estate.
