The Forêt départementale de Méridon occupies 200 hectares on the southern slope of the Yvette Valley. Culture
The choir of the Église Saint-Martin contains stained-glass windows dating from the late 16th and early 17th centuries. The Balade autour de Chevreuse hike is 4 kilometers long and takes an average of 1 hour 30 minutes. The Balade autour de Chevreuse leads along wooded slopes and through a species-rich forest, along the Rivière aux Tanneurs and across the Promenade des Petits Ponts below the Château de la Madeleine.
The Chemin Jean Racine is marked in blue and white and includes seven ceramic plaques featuring verses by Racine.
The Promenade des Petits Ponts runs along the Yvette and passes the remains of former tanneries, the Séchoir à Peaux and the Mandar washhouse. The Chemin des Petits Ponts circular route takes one hour.
