The Église Saint-Roch was built in several phases between March 1514 and October 1518. Its medieval-style layout comprises an east-facing choir, a nave extending from east to west, two side chapels, and a square entrance tower standing 32 metres high.
At the foot of the church stands a commemorative stele dedicated to the Polymultipliée, recalling nearly a century of sporting history in Chanteloup-les-Vignes. Parc Jean Champeau is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from 1 October to 31 March. From 1 April to 30 September, it is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The park has four entrances: on rue d'Andrésy, rue de Denouval, sente des Croix, and at the car park of the salle des fêtes.
Geographical Location
For the section of the Seine à Vélo route from Conflans-Sainte-Honorine to Mantes-la-Jolie, a Transilien J station is listed in Chanteloup-les-Vignes.
The Église Saint-Roch had been closed as a precaution since March 2025. As part of the planned gradual reopening, it was to resume hosting religious ceremonies during a one-year transitional period; access was to remain limited to these occasions.
