In Jouy-en-Josas, the Musée de la Toile de Jouy houses more than 12,000 works relating to the history of printed textiles and the Manufacture Oberkampf, including textiles, costumes and accessories, graphic art, archives, paintings, furniture, objets d’art and tools used in manufacturing. The museum also preserves the memory of the Manufacture de Jouy and its founder and has been housed in the Château de l’Eglantine since 1990.

Culture and History
The Protestant temple of Jouy-en-Josas was inaugurated in 1865. The town’s Protestant tradition is linked to the arrival of Christophe-Philippe Oberkampf, who founded the Manufacture de la Toile de Jouy in 1759. The Église Saint-Martin was built in the 12th century and is listed in the register of Monuments historiques. The Clos des Metz, a former 18th-century farm, was Léon Blum’s last residence.
Nature and Trails
The Domaine de la Cour Roland is a 33-hectare, freely accessible area with extensive lawns, woodland paths and a playground. The circular trail “In the Footsteps of Toile de Jouy” is less than 5 km long and takes less than two hours; it leads to places connected with the history of Toile de Jouy. The 20-km cycle path “Le long de la Bièvre” leads to Jouy-en-Josas and runs along the banks of the Bièvre there. The Bièvre Valley has been protected as a registered site since 4 May 1972 and as a classified site since 7 July 2000.
Farming and Market
At Ferme de Viltain, visitors can view the milking parlour and the cow and calf barns every day; these areas are freely accessible. The farm also includes a 50-hectare vegetable garden where visitors can pick fruit, vegetables and flowers themselves. The Marché de la Ferme offers products made from the farm’s own cows’ milk as well as a wide selection of agricultural and craft products from various regions of France.
