The Sentier de Maincourt is located in the hamlet of Maincourt on the banks of the Yvette between Dampierre-en-Yvelines and Lévis-Saint-Nom. The walking route “Château de Dampierre et marais de Maincourt” is a designated hiking offering and leads through forests and sandstone formations along the Yvette to the Maincourt discovery trail.
The Sentier de Maincourt includes a short 1 km loop that is accessible to people with disabilities, including people with reduced mobility as well as blind and visually impaired people accompanied by someone. The 2.5 km long loop leads to the mill weir, the washhouse and sandstone quarries.
The Domaine de Dampierre-en-Yvelines covers almost 400 hectares of woodland and gardens in the Vallée de Chevreuse in the Yvelines department. The estate offers guided carriage rides through the gardens and forest park, pulled by American mules. It also features the “Chemin des libellules”, a discovery trail focusing on biodiversity and the history of the estate.

The parish church of Saint-Pierre is a 13th-century building that was extensively rebuilt between 1858 and 1867.
The Maison de Fer in Dampierre-en-Yvelines is a remarkably well-preserved, demountable prefabricated house patented by the engineer Bibiano Duclos towards the end of the 19th century. It was installed in Dampierre-en-Yvelines in 1896. The Maison de Fer currently serves as overnight accommodation for hikers and is managed by the Parc naturel régional de la Haute Vallée de Chevreuse.
