Landscape

Culture

The Lavoir Saint-Adjutor was restored in the 17th century and is situated at a spring that was believed to have healing powers, particularly against blindness and rheumatism.

The long-distance hiking trail GR26 begins in Blaru at Les Métréaux and leads to Notre-Dame-de-la-Mer, with a detour via Vernon.

The Tour du Grand Val d'Aconville hike begins at Place Saint-Hilaire in Blaru. It leads via Impasse Saint-Adjutor to Lavoir Saint-Adjutor.

The chapel of the Prieuré de Béthanie is open daily to people who wish to pray there privately. The Prieuré de Béthanie offers retreats lasting one or several days for individuals, groups, families and students.

As a spiritual guest house, the Prieuré de Béthanie is open to all those seeking a period of rest, including groups, families and students. On the first Friday of each month, it holds evenings of prayer with dinner by reservation, spiritual instruction, Compline and subsequent overnight adoration.
