The Église Saint-Julien-de-Brioude was classified as a historic monument on 24 April 1909. Its apse features some of the earliest rib vaults associated with the development of Gothic architecture.

Culture
During excavations in the 1970s at the Église Saint-Julien-de-Brioude, the original floor level was restored; the remains of Marolles's first five priors were found in the process.
The present-day building of the Saint-Arnoult priory also reflects several construction phases: it was built in the 17th century. Parts of the outbuildings are probably remains of the monastery buildings, while the central section was extended in the 18th and 19th centuries, with later semicircular additions made to the southern façade.
La Belle Image is a historic residential building in Marolles-en-Brie. The eastern section dates from the first half of the 17th century, while the southern section, with its recessed side wing, dates from the first half of the 18th century.
From 5 to 7 December 2025, the Salon des Métiers d’Art du Plateau Briard took place in Marolles-en-Brie; the event included an exhibition, sales and demonstrations.
Nature
The Réveillon forms the southern boundary of Marolles-en-Brie; its banks are accessible for walks. A tree-lined promenade runs along the banks of the Réveillon as far as the Yerres.
The Fédération française de randonnée provides the Boucle de la Belle-Image hiking trail around Marolles.
Leisure
The golf course in Marolles-en-Brie was expanded by nine new holes and now has 18 holes. It is hilly, heavily wooded and often narrow; beginners and experienced players can practise their short game there.
Local viticulture includes the Les Sarments du Réveillon vineyard. Wine from this vineyard can be obtained by contacting the Les Amis de Marolles association. The new Les Sarments du Réveillon vineyard replaced the former vineyard as part of the revival of an almost lost wine-growing tradition.
Since September 2024, Marolles-en-Brie has been served by bus route 431, which connects Santeny with Sucy-en-Brie's RER station.
