Landscape
Le Mesnil-Amelot is situated on an extensive grain-growing plain with a flat, open landscape and distant views towards the Monts de la Goële. Agricultural, wooded and natural areas account for 51.4 % of the municipality’s area.
Culture
The Église Saint-Martin is a protected historic monument. It was placed under heritage protection by decree dated 13 July 1911.

Leisure
Parc Maurice Droy is home to two oversized safari statues: a giraffe and an elephant. Square Carnet has play equipment for children aged 1 to 10.
Parc de la Mairie features an adjacent pond with koi carp. It also has information boards about biodiversity designed in a playful way.
Sport and recreation
The Plaine Oxygène sports and leisure centre has a 25-metre sports pool with six lanes. Plaine Ludiboo is a 1,800 m² playground.
Plaine Oxygène also offers a wellness area with a sauna, hammam and hydromassage baths. The Plaine Oxygène ice rink has a 1,450 m² ice surface.
