History
Part of Baron Ménager's former pleasure house has been listed in the register of historic monuments since 2015. The present-day village church was built in 1661 after the previous church had been demolished. A relic of Saint Faron is displayed to the left of the altar.
Nature
The communal forest of Germigny-l'Évêque covers 20.45 hectares and forms part of the large Montceaux forest massif. The forest areas of Germigny consist of 90% deciduous woodland; native oaks account for 74% of the trees. The floodplain forest is home to a great variety of animal and plant species.
Paths and Water
Pleasure boating offers an opportunity to discover Germigny-l'Évêque from the Marne. A 13 km-long hiking trail begins in Germigny-l'Évêque and passes through the Forêt domaniale de Montceaux; the same trail is described as a very easy 13 km hike.
The “Marne and Canal in Varreddes” hiking route follows the riverbank beneath the remains of the old bridge and leads to the square in Germigny-l'Évêque. The “Tour en forêt et bord de Marne” circular route runs along small paths between dry birch forests and natural-looking banks of the Marne. The “Balade au fil de la Marne et nature luxuriante” route follows the Marne and passes along the Forêt domaniale des Montceaux.

Germigny-l'Évêque has two uncovered tennis courts, one covered tennis court and two padel courts. The Association Germinoise de Tennis et Padel offers tennis and padel as recreational, introductory and competitive sports for all age groups.
